Halo infinite syncing data glitch

hello my game halo infinite will not launch when i am signed in. it stays in a never ending loop of trying to sync data. i can get around it by launching it when i am not signed in, then signing in when it is launched. but then i only get the menus and i cant actually play. It first happened when the prompt for me to sign in came up and said" let's go" i think the cloud data is damaged. Anyways I have no way to play the game now. Every other game on Xbox Game pass is working. Also maybe wondering if there is a way to repair the cloud data if that is the issue.

What console do you have?
Also, may i know if you can try using a different account / profile in your console to see if the issue persist?

In the meantime, did you tried power cycling the console?
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

today i bought the ultimate game pass then i went to download gears 5 i downloaded and started it but it was syncing data and it was 0% and when i clicked cancel and not sync the game would load infinitely

It should sync automatically to the cloud while I'm play, right? Then, all the other console has to do is update it's data by importing it from the cloud during the syncing process. For some reason, it doesn't do that. For example, I can play on both consoles
with Halo 5 and MCC and all the data syncs. (I can mess around with Forge in MCC or H5 OR I can play the campaign on one console and the pick up where I left off an hour later on the other.) However, when I jump on to Forza and run a few races or just drive
around in the game, what ever progress I make doesn't sync (or if it does, it doesn't sync on the other console because of a glitch or something).

Hi, I had the same issue and I followed these instruction on this website. Works perfect for me now.

Having trouble booting up Halo Infinite via Game Pass on PC? Is the installer telling you to download Gaming Services but not actually giving you an option to do so? This step-by-step fix will get you back into that challenge grind in no time. To get around the Gaming Services issue you simply need to reset the Halo Infinite app:

1. Press Windows + I

2. Navigate to Apps > Halo Infinite > Advanced Options

3. Click Reset (DATA WONT BE DELETED)

The Xbox app will tell you that Halo Infinite's data has been deleted but this doesn't actually happen. Simply start up the Xbox app again, find Halo Infinite, and click the install button. The game files are still in place and the app will recognize that you own the product.
