    Halo Infinite shows “unknown” on profile while playing?


    So this is weird.

    Many of my friends it shows them playing “Halo Infinite - Insider” but for me it says unknown on my profile and when they look at me it’s just blank; no game lol

    Was this part of the fix by Xbox Insider to push it out faster or is it a Series X specific thing?

    Anyone else having this? It’s definitely not all Xbox players because I have folks I play with where it definitely shows Infinite, and it showed them the title while downloading it too (my download was just blank and didn’t show the title of what was downloading).

    My Halo Infinite Multiplayer stopped working the other night for some unknown reason as well.

    I literally can't play any Microsoft games currently in multiplayer, or single player without some sort of bug/issue.

    Ok, but I did the same with halo infinite but I didn't buy it (the offline version). The achievements are still showing up on steam for that game. Can you tell me why is that the case?

    So here id what happened. I played halo infinite campaign with the pass too. After finishing it, I started playing multiplayer on steam and the achievements of campaign are showing completed on steam (the same ones on xbox) but this is not the case for fh5. Is there an explanation?

    This is exactly whats happening to me while playing Infinite, did you ever get your problem fixed?
    I don't know if it's just halo infinite, but that is all I played. I sent in my xbox series x to get a repair and they sent me new or refurbished one. It was another halo edition series x with a different serial number.

    The Halo data is saved on the game servers

    Try clearing your cache and redownload your profile

    If that doesn't work

    Try deleting the unknown profile (not the games linked to it , just the unknown profile itself)

    And redownload it again

    To confirm if the issue is with the game itself, we suggest downloading other games and see if you still get the same audio problem. If this is a game issue Halo Infinite can provide you more information and how to fix it.

    I found workarounds that might help you resolve the problem.

    • Use an analog 3.5mm audio cable to connect your headphones directly to the PC while playing Halo.
    • Switch back to USB cable or Bluetooth for other applications.
    • If this does not fix, uninstall programs associated with your headphones.
