    halo infinite on pc windows 11 :

    at launch and first setting, it was asking me to download 440 GB of campaign but i exited the game after 5 minutes before it finished downloading all, and now it does not ask me to download anything when i launch the game, so where is the menu to force it to finish the downlaod before to play the game ?

    or will the game finish to download later by itself while advancing the play of the game ?

    but why i cannot force the download to finich before playing the game and where to do that and how ?

    I got this error and tried a few things. What I got Halo Infinite to work was this:

    After an uninstall and reinstall of Halo Infinite I did this:

    Open powershell\terminal (win 11) as administrator and run this command:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers

    I rebooted my machine

    I tried launching Halo Infinite and a Windows store window popped up and I had to install Xbox Gaming services which I did and the campaign was available

    I noticed a few days ago that the latest update to gaming services was just spinning in my microsoft store window. I think a messed up update went to xbox gaming services

    I didnt think it was this because I am in the Beta Channel of win 11 updates but I am working now.

    To repair and rest the Gaming Services, follow the below-given steps!



    • Press Win + I on your keyboard or type Settings in the search box to open the Settings App
    • Now, click on Apps and then click on Apps & Features.
    • Click on Apps and Features from Windows PC Settings
    • Use the search box to find Gaming Services and click on the Advanced option by right-clicking it (for Windows 11, click on three dots on the right)
    • Find Gaming Services App and Click on Advanced Option
    • Scroll down a bit and click on the Repair option and try to launch the game from the Xbox App.
    • Click on Repair Option from the Advanced Options of Gaming Services
    • If you’re still facing the issue, click on the Reset option and launch the Halo Infinite game from the Xbox App.
