Halo infinite not saving after a checkpoint

It is worth noting that halo infinite is checkpoint based so if you do a 20 min fire fight and die but fail to hit the next checkpoint you reset to the last checkpoint not where you save

So if you are not hitting checkpoints he should always backtrack to the a firebase or continue to the next checkpoint

This is important If you aren't doing well during the dual Spartan killer mission

I'd you clear a base but die with one guy left and fail to hit the checkpoint you gotta clear thr base again

I’m playing halo infinite and I’m having the same issue at the tower. My progress will save and I’ll reach saving checkpoints. But when I quit the game and eventually resumed the game within 1 minute of quitting and leaving the game, my progress did not save. The same thing happened last night. Why does this keep occurring and what needs to be done in order to save my progress?

So I'm having the same problem. I'm stuck in "The Road".

If I leave the game, and then I wish to come back, not possible, I'll always come back to The Road even though I've already finished it.

I tried restarting the game and the console.

I've done the "Clear MAC" thing

I've restored my Console to Factory Mode.

My last resort will be to reinstall the game. But Jesus, I think this is the 3rd time I did this. And what if it doesn't work?

I have played Halo: Infinite for two days now, My adventure starts once I land on Halo.... as I progress to The Tower I save my progress by transporting to waypoint on my map. Afterwards I was off my Xboxone for about a couple hours (now mind you I am playing offline) and my saved progress is completely gone????? What in the hell am I doing wrong !!! I need assistance I just wish this would save like the old school Halo games....

I am playing the game as well and you need to quit the game when you see the saving progress and not just saving checkpoint. You may need to check when you play again to make sure.
