Halo infinite: No sound in recorded Theater clips

1. Have you tried playing the recorded/saved theater clips on a different device or media player to see if the issue persists?

2. Have you checked the audio settings in Halo Infinite to ensure that the sound is not muted or turned down?

3. Have you tried recording clips using a different recording software to see if the issue is specific to Xbox Game Bar?

I found out through backtracking previous stuff I had made changes with and it was my anti-virus (Kaspersky). I had disabled all apps from accessing the mic in Kaspersky settings. As soon as I re-enabled I noticed that Kaspersky reported specifically that: "Host Process for Windows Services is using the mic".

I recorded a clip from Theater and this time the sound was there!

Seems strange how the pc uses the mic to record internal audio though but guess that's how it works.

Well this might help others anyway who could run into this issue with their sound recording and anti-virus settings.

I started in mw2 doing some youtube vids and clips, and that was the only way you could. So I wound up with hours and hours of recordings that I'd have to search through to make a good 5 minute video.



Then bo theater came along with all the cool features, and I'd use all theater's effects, save up the clips and just hook up the capture every so often, re-record the clips so I could edit them further. It was pretty fun, but still a bit time consuming.



Then mw3 theater came along ..... and with all its crappy features and fails, I just lost interest completely..

And those clips you record have sound?
