    I've tried it now 4 times and every time it stops at 49%. Sometime i get this error code and sometimes I get 0x80070d0d

    My hard drive has over 800gb free still so its not a free space. I have windows updated to the current version. I've tried uninstalling game pass and reinstalling. Tired using the troubleshooter on game pass as well as the microsoft app store. I tried using the powershell and reinstalling the gaming services app.

    I'm at a lost and not sure what else to do.

    (yes, I've turned the pc off and turned it back on again.)

    Change directory to my principal drive (os installed) and it worked.

    Worry not we have an alternative! I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

    Hi there Casey welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Okay try this:

    Open the Settings app (the gear in the start menu)

    Open Accounts

    Click Sign-in Options

    Scroll down to Privacy

    Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

    Restart your PC

    Well, bummer. I was so excited that this would work. But, alas, it still only downloads to 49%. Same error code as well.

    I did manage to get halo infinite campaign installed but now whenever i try to open halo infinite it opens up the Microsoft Store's Gaming Services page instead. I am on game pass on PC. Ive tried reinstalling the xbox app but it still doesnt work.
