    Halo Infinite doesn't launch xbox app


    As of yesterday at approximately 1pm January 19th 2022, eastern time, I was unable to launch Halo Infinite from my PC. Over the next 14 hours or so, I tried numerous fixes seen on You Tube and Reddit, uninstalled the game 3 times, reinstalled the game accordingly. Even though I have a 3 month subscription to xbox game pass, nothing worked. This morning, uninstalled the game 1 more time, reinstalled it with the Steam app, guess what, worked immediately. To say that I am ticked off about this would be a heavy understatement. If anyone especially from Microsoft has any thoughts, please let me know, since it is your game.

    as of may the 3rd, 343i is still unable to enact back the hotfix for the game to launch.

    such a waste. guess it's no coincidence that they were unable to really revive the halo franchise for the fan.

    well, it still doesnt launch after yesterday patch. Guess they decided to leave some people behind and that it wasnt a bad thing.

    All they had to do was add the fix they had previously done.

    Actually,

    The game was unlaunchable at release for some of us for like a week or 10 days.

    Then a game update was released and it all worked out.

    However, with the latest update, it seems they forgot to include the fix and returned to an older version of the code and the game is once more broken.

    It's a shame 343 and microsoft can't ever seem to the job right when the STEAM version works perfectly !

    Let's hope they rerelease the fix soon.

    We're the 25th of march 22 and the game still doesnt want to launch anymore.

    Come on, patch back your fix that made the game work before !

    and it still doesnt work as of this day.

    Seems like microsoft doesnt care about delivering **** experience to its customers whereas VALVE can with steam.

    What sucks, saves are not crossover, so whatever you do on a platform, doesnt sync with the other.
