    Halo Infinite crashes or freezes in multiplayer.


    Halo Infinite on PC crashes or freezes in multiplayer games. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated windows and all drivers, uninstalled the Xbox game bar, turned off Multiplayer High-Res Textures DLC.

    The PC:

    Windows 11

    11th Gen Intel i7-11700F @ 2.50 GHz

    16.0 GB RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

    Hi,

    Did you update your NVIDIA graphics driver to the latest version 526.47?. If you did, there appears to be an issue with this driver and Halo Infinite. Your best fix is to remove this driver using a free program called DDU (display driver uninstaller) and download driver version 522.5

    DDU is the program you need to clean your system of graphics drivers. There is really no need to reinstall Windows.

    The issue occurs while running the game via Steam or Xbox Live. Only Halo Infinite is affected by this. This does not occur on any other game.

    I called Microsoft Xbox One support and they claimed they would be reaching out to the developers. I'm having issues with Halo 2 as well; constantly freezing and crashing. It's the game, because Halo 5, Halo Infinite, Minecraft and all my other games work. Waiting to hear back.
