HALO Infinite - Blocked from Streaming from console with "This game does not allow streaming"

Hello all

Have encountered this issue in the past, usually if console DVR features are blocked if you have early access to a game not yet released but this has happened for me attempting to stream HALO Infinite via Xbox Series X console and Twitch app. It began with the Infinite MP when it was surprisingly released early but now with the Campaign added, it is still being blocked by the console for streaming.

I have reinstalled Twitch app, reinstalled the entire HALO Infinite game (both campaign and MP) and still blocked now 3 days post launch.

Any suggestions would be welcome, very frustrating to have this being blocked and no response from Xbox or HALO Support on Twitter.

Hi there Cokney welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Had the same issues and I solved it by soft resetting my console but something that worked for some friends was the following and it isn't as hassle as resetting the console!

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

Christopher, don’t copy and paste anything next time. It’s too formal. Otherwise you’re just a robot who doesn’t like Xbox. 🤷🏼‍♂️
