    Halo Infinite Beta Multiplayer does not work with Quick Resume on Series X


    Halo Multiplayer Beta shows that it is reconnecting when it is opened via Quick Resume. Once it reconnects and I join a match, it just gives me a barrage of errors. It works when I restart the game but that defeats the entire point of Quick resume right?? I had a similar issue with Far Cry 6 where the game will just go in an indefinite loop of asking me to quit to the main menu. I saw some reddit forums and apparently this has been an issue with many games that need an online connection. Quick resume will not restore the network connection properly.

    Is everyone with series X/S facing the same issue? Is there something wrong with my Xbox? Is there a fix coming for this soon?

    Halo Infinite Beta Multiplayer does not work with Quick Resume on Series X

    When you suspend a online game your essentially cutting the connection, Quick Resume to my Knowledge was based for Campaign / Singleplayer games mostly

    Your xBox is Perfectly Fine :)

    Hi there Didi welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Unfortunately, yes it seems quickresume has issues while trying to resume an online connection, sometimes it works for me sometimes not, let's hope it gets fixed with the full release of Halo!

    Should.be noted quick resume works differently game to game this is upto the developer

    For games like resident evil or fatal frame or call of duty or halo infinite

    You MUST hit your waypoint before you leavr

    Otherwise you will revert back to the last save point
