Halo Infinite account disapeared?

I own Halo Infinite multiplayer, and play through Steam on PC. Yesterday I press play and instead of bringing me to Halo mainpage, I am asked to sign in to Xbox. So i log into my account, but it then asks me to create a gamertag etc.. So basically my account has disapeared? Im not sure what Im missing here... my account should be maxed out battlepass with almost 200 hours played.. but all i get is this generic gamertag at lvl 1.

I thought maybe I was just using the wrong email address but after trying 4 different ones, still nothing.

ok well, unfortunatly that does not help at all.

Is there no way we can find the email account through the gamertag?

But for sure you are not using the same email account as like i mentioned, you can't have a new gamertag with different content on that same email

If you see a different gamertag and different account content you are definitely using a different email, you could try using your accounts on the Xbox app until you find the same gamertag, it's completely sure you are using a different email as you can create one account per email, it's not possible create a second account with the same email

No, you can't find the email linked to the gamertag trough the gamertag as anyone can see the gamertag, will be a huge privacy issue

Thanks for the response. I have tried the only 4 private email accounts I have created in the past 20+ years. without any luck. the only other email I could have used would be my work email. but when I try to log in with it, I get this error:

AADSTS50020

does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft' and cannot access the application '71dada86-21db-493b-93e4-1a902601f30f'(OneRenderFramework [wsfed enabled]) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.
