Halo games not installed while ingame

Discus and support Halo games not installed while ingame in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I've got Halo Masterchief edition through Xbox game pass.     I've got Halo Masterchief edition through Xbox game pass.

    After some difficulty getting everything installed, now it seems I can;t actually play Halo.

    The game launches fine, but when I try to start a new campaign, wehen I select the difficulty to actually start the game I get the message "Halo:CE is not installed. Would you like to install?"

    I click on yes but nothing then happens.

    I've completed Halo:reach, but now after reinstalling the masterchief collection both Reach and CE is coming up with this error. Any advice?

    Sorry to hear it. Is this on Xbox or PC ?

    Xbox Instructions:

    1. Highlight MCC on the dashboard and press the Start button on the controller.

    2. Select Manage Game

    3. Go to Ready to Install and download any extra game content

    PC Instructions:

    1. Launch Windows Store App

    2. Click on 3 dots in upper right corner

    3. Select Library and find your game

    4. Click on Manage and install any extra content

    I’m on pc.

    Did that before posting but didn’t seem to help. Left my pc on while I was busy with stuff for about 30 minutes and after that it worked fine, so there was probably something running in the background that didn’t show.

    How to talk through xbox party and not gamechat

    Hello there!

    Is there no option on Halo 3 settings to turn off in game chat?
    If not, you can perhaps mute the ingame lobby.

    But i'm sure there's an option somewhere like when you join a game, there's a turn off ingame chat,

    I just can't remember where when I had the same issue.
