Halo 6 fails to launch in 2018...!? Halo 5 and pc

with all known halo sequels known to launch between 2-3 years from one another 343i has put out info regarding the second annual delay for halo 6 yet again for 2018

Halo 5 had launched October 27th 2015,

if 343i withholds the sequel for another year then by this point halo 5 will be just short of half a decade by the time the sequel picks up any decent momentum and dlc.

Presently a group of halo 3 fan fanatics have pulled a veil over the endeavors of Microsoft with the manipulation of halo online's eldewrito and frankly a segment of the community may be pleased however to postpone production of a major sequel in the presence
of this act doesn't look to slightly for the Halo community. infact it is cause for concern to those who have spent the literal 3 years waiting for a sequel to get shot in the face via the grim truth of delays for the second time.

to be frank if 343i is working on a mcc project on pre-existing software updates then why is there no team to work on Halo 5 Forge (pc) as a means to an end if the main title everyone is looking for isn't coming then why have they not added crossplay matchmaking
to the pc rendition of halo 5, optimized or not if customs can run with a few hiccups then people that are comfortable with this should be fine with it in matchmaking.

Halo Wars 2

Like someone else said before, Ensemble was dissolved. If there would be a sequel now, it would likely come from 343. Considering they're busy with Halo 4/reclaimer Trilogy right now, I would say that a HW sequel would like come after Halo 6.

Bungie released Halo's on a three-year cycle, like this:

• 2001 - Halo 1
• 2004 - Halo 2
• 2007 - Halo 3
• 2010 - Halo: Reach

Halo Wars came out in 09, but it was by a 3rd party developer. So assuming 343 doesn't make any spinoffs, they would probably stick to the three-year cycle (possibly even every two years?). That being said, 343's launches might look something like this:

• 2012 - Halo 4
• 2014/15 - Halo 5
• 2016/18 - Halo 6
• 2018/21 - Halo Wars 2

And who knows? Maybe they will decide to split up their developers and work on several projects at once. This could bring a Halo 2 Anniversary in 2014 or a Halo Wars 2 some short time later.
