    Halo 5 guardians unable to validate dlc


    Got the game and the system today, to my great dismay after about a 20 min installation it goes to the title screen and system comes back with the msg " unable to validate dlcs with xbox live".... and goes back to the title screen, xbox live support sais
    ask for help on forums and that they can do nuthin....my son is in tears, how do I fix it? game is on disk, was a preorder, system is brand new, xbox live gold account.

    Hi,

    I believe this is happening because there is a scheduled patch that is coming October 22, which would be today. You can still play the campaign though! Go to Settings > Network > Go Offline. You will be able to play Campaign then!

    I have a similar problem. I've been played whole campaign through, and know I need to play MP. It's just not working, can't connect to servers. I have couple friends who have the game and MP is working great for them.

    I've been downloaded the update. Hate this situation, because I played campaign and thought to play some MP before start writing the review what needs to be done in about 15 hours.

    The support page on this matter only states the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians, but since you do have to contact official support for it you can always ask them if the code from the console is valid for this exchange as well. Just be aware
    that you will only get the disc, you won't get it in a case because the case itself is supplied in the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians.
