    Halo 5 early access - cannot get into a game


    Hi, using the two codes I was able to download and get to the menus of the beta for Halo 5 multiplayer. However in Matchmaking, there is just a red triangle beside the playlist and it wont launch matchmaking.

    Is matchmaking offline right now or am I missing a step in getting into the early access beta? (it's currently Dec 20 and the early access is the 19-21 so it should be up)

    Anyone else loving all the Holiday content lately??

    Almost forgot about the Halo 5 early access beta as well for this weekend...maybe something to kill time before the games of next week get fired up!

    Question about preview program Halo 5 Beta access & forums

    The early access to the beta is over. Currently there is another beta for Halo 5 but only those who've purchased the game have access to it.

    hmmm.... Microsoft has NEVER allowed early access for the mainstream gamer to its halo games. you have to win the game and get it mailed to you early or be a member of the review press to get it. that's about it.

    As for the Halo 5 beta, the early access was good only for this past weekend and ended on Sunday. However, any person who has Halo: The Master Chief Collection will get access to the beta that begins on December 29.

    Early Access for the Halo 5 multiplayer beta is only for Xbox One Preview members. For all others the beta begins 12/29/14.
