    Halo 5 Arena multiplayer matchmaking issue


    For about a month now i keep experiencing and reporting game freezes in all Alpha skip ahead updates with Halo 5 Arena Matchmaking. Randomly after a game ends it just gets stuck automatically in Deploying... the only way to be able to play again is to quit and re-launch the game. Also when playing in a fireteam my team gets loaded into a game while i lag out. This started in February. Since then i factory reset the console and re-installed the game twice. Halp please!!!

    Mainly played Big Team in Halo as well but with dedicated servers I think the small arena maps are going to be very popular now that host advantage is no longer an issue. Halo 5 seems to be shaping up as a arena multiplayer as well.

    I agree the Reach arena was terrible. I also agree that they need a combination of Halo 3 and Halo Reach matchmaking. The reach matchmaking just doenst seem to work anywhere near as good as the Halo 3 matchmaking. A lot of that has to do with the fact
    that your points carry over from the campaign, to firefight, and to the multiplayer. They should have a different rank for each system like in Halo 3. If I am in the shotty sniper playlist I should be a different rank then when I play BTB. This worked VERY
    well in Halo 3. This did not work well at all in Reach. They need to dial that in for sure. The matchmaking in Reach just never worked as well as it did in Halo 3 IMO.

    Halo 5, Titanfall, & Black Ops 3 (at a push), are the closest you'll get to Futuristic multiplayer games but the reality is that there are no Arena Style Multiplayer FPS out on current generation consoles at the moment.
