I have been in contact with a xbox support representative to verify my eligibility for an ODST code. I never received an email back in May/June and have not been able to play on an xbox one until recently.

this FAQ points out "Online users that logged in with their Xbox Live account and played Halo: The Master Chief Collection on any day from November 11, 2014 through December 19, 2014 at 11:59 pm PDT are eligible for a free code granting access to the Campaign
for Halo 3: ODST on Xbox One. Offer is non-transferable."

If you only recently started playing on an Xbox One you would not be eligible for a code. I'm afraid we don't have a code to provide you with.

 

Sorry I didn't mention this but I did actually play the MCC from day 1 and throughout December. I was told by the xbox support member that an official on these forums would be able to help me get a code (if possible).

 

Hi. I got pointed here too. I played MCC from launch day and was even messaged a code. My roommate took our xbox one and I hadn't been able to redeem it until now. Now I have my own xbox one, but the message expired. Is there a way to reissue a code? I met
the criteria for the code, and just need it reissued. Thanks for any assistance you're able to provide.

 

Hey Ant63. I got in contact with Xbox customer support who were able to verify my eligibility but couldn't issue me code directly. They then told me to make a post on this forum where a official staff member code issue me with a code. It's probably worth
making your own post to try and get some assistance. Sorry I wish I could help you more but good luck!

 

Thought I would try posting here as well since my thread I opened has yet to receive any response.

I failed to get the ODST code back in June-July and need a new one. I just spoke to a cust serv rep who verified I played on 12/7/14.

Does anyone know if there's a more efficient way of doing this? I feel like it should be a simple process to verify game history and issue a 25-digit code...

 

I was told the only way at this point in time is to get an official staff member to give you code on these forums. I have also directly messaged the staff member who responded to this thread earlier and am now awaiting a reply. Hopefully him, or another
member of staff, will come back to this thread and help us. Also feel free to message me if you find another way in the mean time.

 

Thanks for the help! I'll keep digging...I suppose I can't get too mad over my free game, but still, sorta frustrating.
