Had to factory reset due to the update but now it won't connect wheb typing the code to the...

To add more info, like a month or two ago i had to factory reset the console due to the green screen of doom or whatever. The xbox won't load the green screen right now and will only connect to the tv when it reaches the troubleshoot menu. The "Offline
System Update" option is greyed out and i can't use it.

Thanks for the update on your issue. Sounds like the update went bad. We recommend connecting with a wired connection to your internet. Then do a

soft factory reset again. This should patch any corrupt files from the one that stopped due to internet connection.

I can understand your frustration here and your logic, but your current console failure issue was not caused by an update to Modern Warfare. Game updates don't make any changes to the console and its Operating System or system firmware.

The E error codes are issues with the console's Operating System (OS). This can be a minor software issue that can often be resolved by resetting the system to factory, or where a console had issues installing a console update, using a offline update with
a Flash drive.

However, since your error was not due to a failed system update, the offline update won't work.

I believe the System error codes are in the region of E102/ E105 / E106 / E203.

Unfortunately if the system factory reset hasn't resolved your issue then your console will need to be repaired. It may have due to failing hard drive.

I would just like to point out again that game updates do not make changes to the console. Your console fault is not because of a Modern Warfare update.

Update, have tried hard reset, uninstalling all 360 games, removing gamer profile, and now even reverting to factory settings but nothing is working. Xbox one works just fine but 360 games won't connect to internet or xbox live.

Usually this is due to an update in the console that is interfering with the install. However, if you're unable to see an update then try doing a factory reset on the console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload
them and your saves are safe on the Cloud.
