    Hi there, I understand your confusion!

    The “ after earning 26 reward points” just means that something you did earned you those points! With the extra 26 points you now have enough in total to redeem that gift card! Simply follow the directions of this MVP to redeem!

    Go to the website listed in the message and you can see a list of gift cards you can redeem with Microsoft Rewards points. Choose the card you want and redeem it.

    You could do like many others do and join Microsoft Rewards. You can earn points for free by doing web searches and small quizzes. These points can be redeemed for many things from Microsoft/Xbox gift cards and other external store gift cards to Xbox Live
    and Xbox Game Pass. You can earn up to 500 points a day like this, it would if you earned that many only take 58 days to get 29000 for a 1 year subscription. Then there are points from purchases of games, these can be in the several thousand points range.

    They expire 90 days after you redeem them. If you just keep earning points and do not redeem the gift cards yet, the points don't expire. So don't redeem the codes until you're ready.

    I saved up to $65.02 on Microsoft points and now it’s gone. I didn’t spend any of the points on anything. I need to get it back please l. A lot wasted.

    Keep in mind that funds you earn from redeeming gift cards through Rewards expires after 90 days. If they expired, there's no way to get them back.

    If you had the funds for less than 90 days, check your transactions at http://account.microsoft.com for any transactions you don't recognize.
