Had issues whit the authenticator app

The only way to recover an account is through the account recovery web form:

However if you have the two-step verification feature enabled, I'm afraid the account recovery web form will not work and the only way to recover your account is to regain access to your two-step verification phone number. There are no options to bypass this method.

Not having any issues whit the ios app

It seems possible there might be some problem with using the authenticator app.

Is it possible that you could try turning off using the authenticator app for this instance to see if that will allow you to get past this problem then you could turn it back on afterwards.

I'm a software architect and very well aware of these systems. Have exhausted all my troubleshooting options before posting this issue on the forums. The Authenticator app is working perfectly as I use it at least 20 times in a day and till now never had
an issue.

it still does not work but do you think this is just an issue whit the xbox app after the last update and it will get fixed in the next update or whatever?

You need to sign into your EA account on the EA website and set up your security settings there.

You might have had an Authenticator App on your smartphone, that provided authentication codes in the past. Or maybe EA sends you an authentication code to your email.
