    Had issues whit the authenticator app


    Im on need to update some of my information on the account.

    But it asks me for my old phone number. That i got stole and the provider not wanna recovery my phone.

    I try to setup the authenticator but still asks me about my old phone

    I try to recovery account and when change phone asks me to do it again.

    Is like i had no account, sadly is vinculated for gaming access and i will lost all the things attached

    Need help

    I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Microsoft account.

    Just a gentle reminder that we are only Xbox gamers like you here in the community. We are not Microsoft employees and we do not have tools to access any Microsoft System.

    The only way to recover an account is through the account recovery web form:

    However if you have the two-step verification feature enabled, I'm afraid the account recovery web form will not work and the only way to recover your account is to regain access to your two-step verification phone number. There are no options to bypass this method.

    Unable to create an XBox Profile for my 13-yr old son. Stuck at parental consent with a broken process

    It seems possible there might be some problem with using the authenticator app.

    Is it possible that you could try turning off using the authenticator app for this instance to see if that will allow you to get past this problem then you could turn it back on afterwards.
    I'm a software architect and very well aware of these systems. Have exhausted all my troubleshooting options before posting this issue on the forums. The Authenticator app is working perfectly as I use it at least 20 times in a day and till now never had
    an issue.

    You need to sign into your EA account on the EA website and set up your security settings there.

    You might have had an Authenticator App on your smartphone, that provided authentication codes in the past. Or maybe EA sends you an authentication code to your email.
