    Had a faulty XBOX replaced - signed in with my account and it's on the "preview" OS?


    This is my 3rd xbox, the other two were faulty and would give me no signal and blinking with my screen(s) so.... I took it back and got it replaced. signed into my XBOX account, wondered why the UI was different. contacted XBOX support and they said I was invited to the preview and I accepted (I don't remember that) and now I'm thinking the issues I'm having are linked to the preview build.

    How can I remove it?

    My Xbox One has been totally problem free so far. Only had to do one hard reset in six months and that was due to a preview issue.

    My guess is the OP is using or has been using a surge protector or a faulty power strip. hard resets are not down to a buggy Xbox One OS because there are no major flaws with the OS.

    Hi KarolMitas,

    I had a similar issue with my Xbox One X. It would only show the Opening logo scene and freeze or wouldn't show anything and had the same issue powering it down. Found out my hard drive was faulty so got it replaced and installed the OS following the Microsoft guide for performing an offline update for Xbox One models.

    Can NOT remove myself from the XBOX PREVIEW! XBOX support is going in circles...

    According to Reddit, my OS/build isn't the preview. but I don't get why I'm on the latest UI.

    Also, yeah... tried different HDMI cables and TV's. so did the game employee who tested the faulty XBOX...

    Cmon this faulty update was already replaced eine days ago.

    And also this is still a preview program issue and has to be discussed in the preview forums and not here in the regular support forum.

    I'm dealing with the same issue. I've had 3 different systems (ie 2 replacements sent) and they all had the same problem, so I'm pretty sure it is the power supply. Like yours, there is no outward sign that the power supply is faulty, but I don't think
    I'd get 3 broken systems in a row. I'm currently waiting on a replacement for my power supply
