    my account got hacked while i was on vacation and i filed a report of it and the did absolutely nothing to even look into it and i am now com banned for this reason and the wont do anything at all for me to fix it i even know who did it their gamer tag is

    it seems fishy that he got hacked. Do you think this is a conpiracy? Like he hacked himself?

    Who did you file the report with.

    Now another question is what makes you think that your account was hacked?

    Did they go in and change like the email associated with the account? so when you go to log in it says this email does not exist?

    Did they change the password and the security proofs so if you try and update anything on the account it wont let you because of the changes?

    These are all signs that an account has been hacked and some of the things that they look at when determining if an account has been compromised If any of these things have happened then you will want to follow the next paragraph if not then that may be
    why they determined that your account was not compromised.

    What you need to do is contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and have them do an unauthorized access unable to recover your account escalation during this escalation they would have you create a new account and once the escalations
    team investigates it and determines that the account was compromised then they would transfer all of your info to the new account.

    Microsoft you have a PROBLEM

    Unless a main website or service has been hacked - like PSN, it's not a hack ok.

    Phishing, NOT a hack

    Social engineering, NOT a hack

    Giving someone your LIVE ID to someone else and then losing your account,
    NOT a hack

    Using dodgy software or websites offering free points and what not, then losing your account, still
    NOT a hack.

    Signing up for various suspect websites using the same email address and password for LIVE. then losing your account. still
    NOT a hack.

    If EA was compromised and it held your Windows LIVE ID, this is technically a hack, but it's EA that would have been hacked, not Xbox LIVE. When I say 'hack' I mean a real, sophisticated website or server attack. A hack in the literal sense of the word.

    Leaderboards full of hacks and obvious hacks but nothing been done as of yet

    PC is very easy to hack anyway, not really a big problem, if they can hack PSN then they can hack this.
