    Hacked Microsoft \ Xbox account


    My entire Microsoft account has been hacked and email along with phone number has been changed. My gamer tag is ***Remove PII*** and I have credit cards on the account. Contact us doesnt work bc I don’t have access to the account. Obviously. and recovery form didn’t work at all. Even tho the info I enter is correct. I was getting emails that someone is attempting to sign in multiple times but they were going to my junk folder. Then I got Email stating my Microsoft email has been changed and that was it. I need help and contact with someone from Microsoft. I can verify the info and the cards and everything I just have to get someone human and not an automated system that doesn’t work.

    Hi Jey! I am sorry to hear about what happened.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft account and Xbox profile are only one single account. If your Microsoft account was hacked, everything in it including your Xbox stuff is part of it. The only option you could get back to your original account or Xbox profile is to recover the hacked Microsoft account itself.

    Report and block them.

    Microsoft will check their records for indications of hacking and if they find evidence, they will act on it. As Undeadfire stated, not everyone that says they hacked, actually did. Most people can't hack. Hacking another account to find their password,
    usually the account owner reports their stolen account to Microsoft.

    Microsoft does not take threats lightly. Depending on what the threat was and how much Microsoft believes the person can do it will determine what Microsoft does. At the very least, Microsoft can get them on threatening another player or what is called,
    cyber-bullying/cyber-abuse. Microsoft is good at acting on these things and will insure your Xbox LIVE experience is enjoyable.
