Guys it won’t let me join a smp Because I can’t change my privacy settings

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then use the organizer account so sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:

@M3tal Daz3 correct.. But there also might be an issue with the conectvity with the Live service.. Keep an eye on the status page and try again when issues are cleared.

Only an adult or parent account can change privacy settings

I’m on Xbox Minecraft and it won’t let me play multiplayer realms/join friends or any server ur says I have to change my Microsoft account setting but doesn’t work once I change the setting.

Same problem. I just paid to get age of empires 2 definitive edition and the game works but will not let me play multiplayer and my searches suggest I need to change privacy settings but I am unable to change privacy settings because it does not let me
log in to xbox.com
