    Guys I really need help like really badly


    So today I tried signing into my Xbox and put my password in after that it said "can't connect to the Xbox network" even though the internet was connected I restarted it about 5 times after that and nothing changed then I removed my account from the Xbox and tried signing back into it but it then said "this account already exists on this console" or something like that is there any other fixes that wouldn't include factory resetting it

    (This issue is on my Xbox 1 slim)

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

    • Would you mind giving this a try?

    - Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
    - Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes.
    - Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.
    - Plug everything back together and turn your console.
    - Check if your account is on the console. If it's not, try adding it again.

    Please let me know if you receive the same error message.

    • In addition to this, could you go to Settings > General > Network Settings, and let me know what you see under "Current network status"?

    Agreed 168.0 is the wrong subnet for Win7, with earlier versions of Windows you almost always had to use a static ip address for ICS as its DHCP was flakey but with Win 7 just putting your Xbox ip address on auto should work fine
