Unfortunately it doesn't look like Guitar hero is going to have any Backwards Compatible games.

Hi I'm sorry but the guitars must be compatible with 360 not if you use a PS2 product on Xbox I'm sorry. The backward compatibility of Guitar Hero is not there, since lately they are no longer successful,
I would recommend you buy an Xbox One game since you can use a real guitar.

The game is not yet on the Xbox Backwards Compatibility List. And I believe it is not possible to play with the PS2 guitar because of hardware incompatibility, even with the adapter.
