    Guitar Hero III Wired XPlorer Guitar not working?


    I don't know where to put this so I hope I put it in the right place. I bought a wired GH3 XPlorer and have been using it on my PC for 6 days and it worked fine for all of them up until today where it flashed the player 1 and 3 lights and then never came
    on again and no matter what I do I can't get the lights to come on or for it to be recognized on my PC, I scanned through my device manager to see if anything was out of place and nothing showed up in my HID devices or USB devices and nothing has a exclamation
    mark next to it and I have no other computer or Xbox 360 to plug it into, only an Xbox One, any help would be appreciated.

    Edit: just as a further notice I have tested to see if it was my USB ports and it isn't and the breakaway cable is brand new so I'm at a loss

    Guitar Hero III Wired XPlorer Guitar not working?

    I am having the exact same issue. My Xplorer worked fine for a month and a few days ago it just showed the player 1 and 3 LEDs and shut down. I continued to unplug and plug back in the guitar and the LED's would come on but nothing would show up on Windows.
    I really hope someone out there knows what the issue is. I took mine apart and I can't identify any loose solder connections, and I felt the main chip and its warm so I know its getting power. Really frustrating issue for sure....

    issue with xbox slim and audio desynchronise on all guitar hero games

    yes i did try with different guitars, i have 6 guitars that i use for years, xplorer and gibson wired and wireless, all of them work perfectly on rock band 3.

    The problem seems to be a hardware problem with xbox slim itself, i tried with hdmi / vga cable / composite all resolution, same problem.

    on other games i don't have problem either, only the guitar hero games, the xbox slim seems to have issues with framerate on guitar hero games, loosing a few frames every X seconds creating a lag that developp over time during songs. it is the weirdest problem
    i ever had.

    I have guitar hero 3 on pc too and using the same screen and guitar the problem doesn't appears.
