Guide won't open from time to time while playing a game

Yes, i noticed this too, and not only the on-screen keyboard. Opening the guide while you are in a game, and going to the dashboard and inmediately returning freezes the game like 3 seconds. The probability of lag grows the more times you open the guide
while playing.

Maybe it has to do with the console recently added features, social stuff, achievement tracking, or a mix of those thing not well integrated with operating games.

Anytime I start a game like VRchat it's says there is an unexpected error that the game is open and when I try to play any thing on the Xbox app it won't load at times and other times it well load so slow that it won't open at all

Hi, normally you'd need to open the Xbox 360 guide, you do that by pressing the view and menu buttons at the same time on your controller while the backwards compatible game is running, you'll then see the option to download your Xbox 360 profile in the
guide. That should then enable you to play your backwards compatible games without being nagged at to download your profile maybe.

Every once in a while I won't be able to navigate the favorites menu, or the character menu. Opening the guide seems to fix it.
