Guide to set up Bluetooth Speakers/Headphones (No mic)

Using the Spdif slot on your xbox you can make a little bluetooth device slot by using SPDIF convertor and A jack to bluetooth device.

What you will need is as follows

1 SPDIF Converter

1 SPDIF cable

1 Jack to Bluetooth device

1 Bluetooth speaker/headset to pair it with.

Put the spidf cable in to the back of the xbox in, then take connect the convertor with the cable, Plug in the blue tooth jack device into the convertor, Pair the Speaker/headset and Device. Enjoy

Devices needed are below and trusted website. Yes you can use the SPDIF convertor for sound systems as well.

I have both devices but haven't tried Canada's version, If it doesn't work, I am sorry if that is the case. This is a project that is a work in progress.

Hopefully In the near future will find A way for mic to work.

Sony MDR-IRBT Headphones

Hi, i have a set of Sony Bluetooth headphones with a built in mic, It works fine on my pc, but when i plug the cable into the MS headphone adapter the mic doesn't work, Anyone got any Ideas? Thanks

There are a few work a rounds you can do.

1) There are mic and headphone connectors for 360 from 3rd party developers that plug into controller and let you connect a standard PC headset to a 360 controller

2) you could simply ignore the mic and plug headphones into the TV then put the 360 headset over them and set it to play voice back through speakers then you get the voice chat through the headphones and the headset over the top to talk into and talk to
people.

3) The final one is a mix of both and I'm not sure if it even works, you connect your headset with the mic bit in the controller and the headphone audio into the TV headphone socket then change the 360 settings to play voice chat etc through the speakers
which as you have the headphone plugged in should put the sound through the headphone to you.

This might be a surprise but for some games i prefer headphones other than that its my TV speakers really. Yeah i know Bluetooth speakers are cheap nowdays but i still use my tv speakers lol

your bluetooth headset with mic is designed for audio and talking via bluetooth, the cable that you can plug into your headset and then to the controller only enables audio not mic. lots of bluetooth headsets and headphones are the same, the option to plug in a cable is for audio only.
