    GTAIV: Cannot start game, does not recognize windows live account any more


    I have GTAIV on steam on my PC. I used to play it a lot, but haven't for a few months now.

    Suddenly I can't start the game anymore. In order t play the game I have to log in with my Windows Live ID.

    I've checked my ID, and I can acess my windows live as well as Xbox live acount via my browser.

    However GTAVI does not recognize my account. It used to work without problems before.

    I have tried downloading and installing the "games for microsoft live" client but here also, the client does not recognize my Windows Live ID.

    What can I do? How can I resume playing GTAIV on steam?

    Zune software does not recognize Windows Phone 8 device

    I cannot get my Windows Phone 8 device added to my XBox Music account. My Zune software does not recognize my new Windows Phone 8 device so I cannot download music to the device. Any suggestions of how to make this work?



    The directions online says:

    To add a Windows Phone to your Xbox Music Pass

    Sync an Xbox Music Pass item you downloaded from Xbox Music Store to your device. It will be added automatically.



    By the since the software does not recognize the device we cannot figure out a way to make this happen.

    reGTAIV: Cannot start game, does not recognize windows live account any more :premium acct.

    I cannot register for premium account as microsoft does not seem to recognize addresses outside of USA. Is there any way around thir? I live in Canada.

    I have the exact problem with my "Dirt 3"!!! My game won't save gameprocess if im not logged in to my "gfw live" account. Have u found any resoulotion?

    GTA IV sign-in on xbox for windows live doesn't recognize my product key,, so I entered it on the xbox.com redeem code page where it was recognized The game is still asking for my product key and not accepting it saying it's invalid, so I cannot proceed

    Gamertag change issues.

    first, Live is not the only thing that uses the game tag system, Zune and Windows Live for PC games use it. second, the system does not recognize caps or spaces in a tag so divine prodigy Divine Prodigy and devineprodigy are all the same tag, you will just
    have to be more creative in creating a new tag sorry.

    I don't think I've ever messed with my system cache. So I guess I'll start with that. I have both DLCs and I haven't installed the game.

    How much does installing the game really help though? I installed GTAIV years ago and didn't notice any improvements to loading times.
