GTA V update stuck on 0%

Discus and support GTA V update stuck on 0% in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have been sitting here for about half an hour in the Games and Apps Screen and it still just says "Grand Theft Auto V - Updating - 0%".     GTA V update stuck on 0%


    I have been sitting here for about half an hour in the Games and Apps Screen and it still just says "Grand Theft Auto V - Updating - 0%". I don't have a particularly quick internet, but it still should have progressed somewhat. The update is 13.4gb (all
    of the updates available for the game) and I have already tried power cycling, restarting modem, re-installing the game (twice) and it still isn't doing anything. Any help would be awesome

    GTA V stuck in an update

    Its been stuck at 80% since before xmas, so its unplayable. IF it was the 360 i could just delete the update and start again but on the xbox one i cant find a way =/.

    I received a preview update while at work on the 18th November.

    I recognized the problem when I tried to start GTA V.

    Moreover my friends list was stuck with people appearing on/offline that weren't at the time (compared to smartglass).

    I did hard resets, all network checks and nothing helped.

    I removed my gamertag and did a reset and entered my account info again.

    Now I'm stuck with 0gs and 0 friends and no gamerpic in the...

    XBOX ONE DIGITAL GAME WONT LAUNCH

    Same problem here with far cry 4. Gta v works offline and that's a download for me. Just called support and Simon advised it's linked to issues with xbox store and check for an update in 30 mins. I should have stuck to discs.

    OK, I figured it out. I went to settings, console, storage, GTA v, and cleared the local data. Worked so far

    This could be an issue with the cache. Please try holding the power button (white light) on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. When you start it back up again the game should be able to load properly.
