GTA V Update Issues

I've been completely unable to download Tittle Update 1.04 ever since it went live last week. Nothing I've tried - wired connection, wireless, different times of the day, power-cycling and even reinstalling it - has gotten me further than "There was
a problem with the update."

Any potential fixes I might have missed? I'd really like to keep playing but I may just have to flip over to The Crew instead...

GTA V update issue

It's an issue with the latest update, had the problem myself. Just put the system into stand by and let it download while it's "off"

XB1 light flashing and turned itself off...

The March update came out yesterday, so it could have been that.
Or it could be an issue with the new update.
A friend who doesn't have Kinect had his console switch from GTA V to Xbox Video.

If the game will still not work for you after you contact Rockstar, contact XBOX Customer Support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX to get a refund. (If you downloaded the game that is.)

Hey koningpumba,

The updates for GTA V are saved to your Hard Drive instead of the Cache memory, so you won't get any updates from GTA V by clearing the Cache.

The clear the Cache step is to delete any corrupted profile or system related information.

If that doesn't help, also try deleting just your profile and then redownload it and do a hard reset.

Hey!

When you are getting such error code, it may have something to do with your hard drive.

A storage device (such as a memory unit or hard drive) was not found during the software update. Follow these steps:

1.Turn off your console.

2.Remove all console storage devices, including any USB flash drives, external hard drives or the internal hard drive on the Xbox 360 E console or Xbox 360 S console.

3.Add your primary storage device, for example, the hard drive.

4.Turn on the console

5.Try updating the console again.

Try clearing the cache a few times in succession (support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache), then turn the console off and back on and see if it allows you to download
the update now.
