GTA V unrecognized disc

Ok so I just got Gta V I had borrowed from a friend before and i finally went and got it and everytime I put in disc 1 the install unrecognized disc comes up so I try the 2nd disk it loads up but only online and it askes to install disc 1 I do this and consistently
wont read I have a fairly new 360 slim 250 hdd and i have tried deleting and reinstall cleared cache my reader is fine reads all my other games fine oh and I am on my 2nd copy of gta i took the first back and repeated everything still nothing

"This disc in unreadable" for new gta v copy?

I tried to install the "disc 1 install" for gta v but it froze around 5 GB so I restarted it. I got a message saying the save data was corrupted so it would begin downloading again, however I got a "This disc in unreadable" after that. I tried deleting the
GTA V files it had downloaded so I could start over, but I kept getting a message saying "Disc is unreadable." The disc was in perfect condition, but I went to get another new copy at GameStop and now the new copy keeps saying "Disc is unreadable." Sometimes,
on the Home Hub, it says "Unrecognized disc." What do I do? Is something wrong with my xbox 360?

The disc is clean and it is the same region as my xbox.

 

GTA V unrecognized disc error after installing game update

I have an Xbox 360 slim. I have been playing GTA V since a couple of days after launch of the game. The game disc installed no problems. The play disc worked no problems until now. I have been playing regularly with no issues making my way through the game
- no glitches or problems with the discs. The discs are in perfect condition, no scratches.

Today - after GTA Online was launched. I started Xbox 360. Inserted the GTA V play disc. The game started and then it notified that there was an update required. The updated installed successfully. The game restarted. And after a pause on a black screen
for a few seconds I get a message 'disc not recognized'.

I tried cleaning the disc. I restarted console several times. Open closed tray. Tried disc one and it is now unrecognized. Tried other game discs they are fine.

The GTA V discs are readable because it shows the game display icon on the xbox home screen. The update broke the game.

Any solutions?

 

Maybe the actual disk is just messed up?

 

No not the disc i tried two copies and even watchdogs wont get recognized but i have wolfenstein new order works perfectly and so do my games i have had for awhile tried everything i could think of or that i read.
