GTA V total install size?

So i wanted to clear up some space on my Xbox 360 recently and i notice GTAV was at a total 15.9GB (includes tittle and GTAV online updates). its not that much but i remember that i own a disc version of the game before returned it to my friend and then
bought the game digitally. I play for hours at a time, so to avoid scratches on disk and what not I installed both DIsk 1 & 2 of GTA V. This instal gave me GTAV part 0-3. which totaled 7.7GB

When i bought the game digitally it downloaded the game (also 7.7GB)

now im stuck here wondering if i can delete the GTAV part 0-3 because idk if its just the same game as the digital 7.7GB download or something competely different. can anyone help me?

Achievement merging question.

Sorry I might not have explained it well enough. Its the same account, just different versions of it. For example copy 1 has 5000 total gamerscore and 100 on gta v. Version 2 has 4000 total but 300 on gta v (different achievements) will I get all the gamerscore
(400 on gta v) when I bring it online?

I think they are one and the same thing, though there's no risk in deleting it, you won't lose any of your saves so as long as you don't touch them, just delete that and see if you can play it, though I'm pretty sure they are the same thing, it will require
you to re-download it.

EvilBoris hit the nail on the head with that explanation. The size of the game install is all down to the size of the graphics data and the resolution and complexity of said data, not on how much you can do in the game. GTA V is actually about 16GB. The
reason it is so large is not because the play world or the missions are more complex, it is in fact all down to the textures. Rockstar really pushed the ceiling here with regards to graphics for GTA V on the last gen systems.

Since it's all down the texture detail and resolution, it is likely that GTA V on the Xbox One - which was announced last week, will also likely be around the 35-40GB size too, even though graphics aside it is essentially the same game.

Hi Quentarus, I know it can be very frustrating when a game you pay money for doesn't want to work. Try this, this has been known to fix issues with disk error messages for digital games. Ok try deleting GTA V, then download some demos that add upto the
size of GTA V, in this case we're talking about 12gb with the extra packs installed. Once you have done that, then redownload GTA V, hopefully the problem will be fixed. Let us know if it helps.

ok looking up the file size for GTA V on it says it need 16GB at least of free space

for the game
