Gta V storage alert

My xbox 360 will not properly load GTA V.

When i try and load it, an alert that says

The game was restarted due to a problem with the storage device where the game data was installed

Please replace the storage device and re-install the game data if issues continue to occur.

We have tried unplugging the xbox and removing the harddrive. What should I do?

Also, has anyone had the same problem?

it could be the harddrive is beginning to fail, file corruption is most likely what is causing your issue, you may have to replace the drive.

If that fails, please also check the GTA V game folder, which is location at settings - system - storage - select storage device - Games - GTA V to be sure no corrupt or incomplete files are present. If they are present please delete those.

After that clear cache, and restart console and try to download the update.

Hi, it could be a problem with your storage device, if you are using a hard drive, then try deleting the game, then download a few demos that add up to the same size of GTA V, then re-download GTA V. The reason to download the demos first, is that GTA V
is stored on another part of the hard drive which hopefully wont give you the error.

Hi Chris,

That blah blah blah. What exactly did it say? Was there any error codes?
This info is key to our troubleshooting efforts.

This may sound like a silly question but have any of you been prompted to download an update for GTA: V?

Look through your "Storage" and see if you have "GTA V Title Update" installed on your HDD or whatever save device you are using.
