GTA V not showing up for download

I had purchased GTA V back in like 2016 as a digital copy and wanted to redownload it to a new Xbox I’ve been playing on and it doesn’t show up under my available downloads. I’ve check that I purchased the right game on the right account but even when I go to the store it says the original game is unavailable and that I can only purchase the premium game or game bundle. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can download the game?

I had the same problem. just know i fixed it . download gta from the xbox app on your phone. if u played it before it should be under the jump back in tab. click on it then click download and it will start downloading on your console. make sure u set it up

Did you log in on the website? When I do, it shows the install button, so make sure you are logged in.

Are you sure it was the Xbox One version of the game you bought. You might have purchased the Xbox 360 version. If so, then that game will not work as it is not backward compatible.

If you are sure you purchased the Xbox One version of the game, then make sure you are logged in with the account that purchased the game.

You could also try installing the game from this link https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/store/grand-theft-auto-v/BPJ686W6S0NH/0001, make sure you are logged in with the account that purchased the game.

another thing is if u bought gta on another account and u don’t have it as another profile on your xbox it won’t launch

It is the Xbox one version and I’m on the right account because I checked my order history and when I go to the store or use the link you posted it says the game is not available separately as if they took the game off the digital store
