    GTA V Megladon


    I set up my new S series today and went to the game store and purchased GTA V with the Megladon pack for 29:99, down from £75.
    There were other versions available to buy, starting from 12:99 but this looked the best deal. 60% off.
    So, I started the game but there isn’t any sign of the Megladon bonuses, ie the 8m cash etc

    Do I have to take out a Game pass sub to activate this?
    I loaded the game and went into the games settings and clicked online but it said my profile wasn’t set up for this?
    Thats seems so wrong, you buy a game but you have to pay a monthly fee to access the bonus elements you paid for.

    I take it you have to have a game pass to activate these bonus elements?
    What would happen if I take out the new membership offer of £1, for the first month, for the Ultimate Pass so as I can “activate” the Meg pack then cancel the sub before it renews?
    My question is, if I do that would I lose (would MS lock me out) the Meg pack and I revert to the bog standard game?

    Keep in mind you do need a Gold subscription to play online.

    The error you are getting has something to do with your settings though. Can you check your privacy settings please?

    Make sure that under Privacy, Xbox One/ Windows 10 online safety, everything is set as ALLOW and EVERYONE.

    Note: If you own a child account, make sure to change the settings using the parent account, okay?

    Hi there Pam,

    Thank you very much for taking the time to reply, I’ve steadily been going crazy over this.

    I am new to the Xbox gaming so a bit out my depth.

    So, I went into the Xbox’s setting and put everything set to Adult, as far as I can see each section is allowed and everyone.

    I loaded GTA V back up went to settings and hit Online but I am still getting the message.

    Your profile doesn’t allow you use GTA online?

    Does it make a difference that I am already playing in story mode?

    Should I uninstall and reinstall?
