    GTA V Issues.


    Hello all,

    For the last week i have been having some major issues with the GTA V Online. I load the game and says loading GTA Online and will do one of three things: 1.'time out' 2.completely crash to the dashboard 3. [RARE] It does load it will put me in a lobby
    by myself and if i try to 'Find New Session' it will 'time out' and back to story mode.

    Upon calling xbox I was told to follow these steps:

    1. Clear system cache [All Settings -> Disc & Blu-ray -> Blu-ray -> Persistent Storage -> Clear (3 Times)]

    2. Clear the NAT [All Settings -> Network -> Network Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Alt MAC -> CLEAR (Reboot)]

    3. Power Cycle [Hold power button on front of Xbox for 10 seconds and unplug power from WALL and wait until the led on the power brick turns off completely wait 10 - 20 seconds then plug back in and boot]

    4. Soft System Reset [All Settings -> Console Info & Updates -> Reset Console -> Reset and keep my games]

    I have talked with 3 different xbox customer support techs and the last one just so happened to have "Just gotten an bulletin from Rockstar in regards to the game database being down and telling everyone they need to wait 72hours
    until it is back up.'     After which I was very rudely told to call back in 72 hours.

    If anyone would please like to shine some light on this subject it would be greatly appreciated.

    P.S. It's not my network. Here are the stats from 'Detailed network statistics' in [All Settings -> Network]

    DOWN: 145.57 UP: 10.22 PACKET LOSS: 0% MTU: 1480 LATENCY: 60ms

    When will Rockstar update GTA 5 with the patch?

    "I'm assuming the patch for Online will not be the day Online is accessible... That will lead to too many complications."

    i really doubt there will be any issues with Online, when it releases! come on, they held off Online for two weeks, when GTA V launched, so yes... i highly doubt Online play will have "issues".

    come October 1st, this is when i will actually start GTA V, i am refraining from GTA V until Online is Launched

    Gaming to tide you over til launch

    My gta v keeps hard freezing on the same level. Apparently an issue with older 360's according to what I read online. GTA V Issues. :( GTA V Issues. :(

    Connecting to Xbox Live takes a long time.

    Ok. Reformatted the hard drive, and it's still quick to log in. I originally only had GTA V installed on the 120 GB hard drive, so instead of installing that, I installed both discs of Mass Effect 2 (which takes up more space than GTA V), and I had no
    issues with logging in. I'm now reinstalling GTA V to see if the issue comes back. If GTA V is the culprit, I'll switch to their help forums.
