    GTA V Install Disc Won't Play.


    I bought the game when It came out In '13 played It for awhile then sold It and bought It back a month later. So when I bought It back I didn't have to use the Install disc because I hadn't deleted it from the first copy. So I accidentally erased a GTA pack
    and now when I went to start the game It gave me a message ( one or more GTA V downloadable content Is missing, please Install disc 1) so I put disc 1 In and It's says It's unreadable/unrecognized and sometimes even says 'Open Tray" when there's a disc In
    It. This problem happened a few week ago but after taking It out and putting It back In and clearing the cache a hundred times It finally worked and I Installed It. I haven't played GTA In over a week cause of this I've been playing Forza Horizon 2 so I put
    GTA off for awhile but now I want to fix It or am I gonna have to buy a new copy?

    GTA V will have 1 disc (blu ray) on PS3. You install it, you play with it.

    The only thing I probably won't like about GTA V is calling the online portion of it "Grand Theft Auto Online". Feels a bit retro.

    Here's a support article that teaches you to
    reset your display settings    . Let us know how that goes for you.

    If it doesn't help, I suggest giving these steps a shot:

    • Uninstall GTA V completely from all storage devices you have (both the play disc and the install disc).
    • Clear your system cache.
    • Restart your console.
    • Install only the GTA V install disc (not the play disc) to your console's main hard drive.
    • Place the GTA V play disc in the console and try to play GTA V without the play disc installed (you should only have the install disc installed).

    USB for Grand Theft Auto V

    Final update. The SanDisk Cruzer performs perfectly. I have the INSTALL Disc (disc 1) of GTA V installed on it. And I have the PLAY disc installed to the HDD. The game works great with this set up.
