GTA V From The Marketplace

Is anyone else having problems with GTA V as the downloadable version? When I downloaded all the packs the game itself keeps on freezing my Xbox 360 when the Rockstar logo shows.

This is what happened. I downloaded the game first, then I was downloading the packs through the game's loading screen and then I got disconnected from Xbox Live. I went into my Download History to resume the downloads. They downloaded. That was when
the game kept freezing my Xbox 360 when the Rockstar logo appeared on my screen. I deleted everything including the game to try again from scratch as in from fresh. After many hours of downloading the same thing happened. Then I found out one of the packs
or two of them or all three of them are causing the freezing. I know that because I deleted the packs and when I went to load the game I got past the Rockstar logo where I'm on the loading screen where it says Downloading at the bottom right of my screen.
Now I keep on getting an alert saying "Download Stopped for GTA V Install Pack 4". That alert shows every five seconds so I'm never going to download the final pack at this rate.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, did any of you sort it and how? I've already deleted my Cache and then I deleted my profile and download it again. Obviously still no luck.

Freeze on save in Skyrim and can't even get past the loading screen in GTA V

If GTA V is indeed downloaded from the marketplace and not a disc, try this.

Delete GTA V and clear your cache 3 times.

Restart your console.

Download 16 GB of demos (this is how big GTA V will be in the end)

Once those have finished download all the GTA V files from your download history (GTA V, Installation Packs 1-4)

After you've done that, feel free to delete the demos.

This worked for me, hopefully it works for you too!

 

Do I need extra space for it even if I download the initial download which is 7.63 GB? (Digital version)

I just got GTA V from the sale, and please if there is someone who owns the digital version from the marketplace, answer my question, please?

 

Hey there, OrcaAmity! I'm very sorry to see any issues with GTA V loading! I see you've done a bit of troubleshooting, so let's try to nail this one down for you.

Some troubleshooting I don't see you've done is trying to download this on another hard drive or a 16GB flash drive. This will help rule out the hard drive as a possible culprit. If it works just fine on another drive, I suggest deleting the content from
your main hard drive and downloading something else (a free demo or something similar). This will ensure that the content will save on a different section on your hard drive (in case that section might be going bad).

Before you do that, please make sure that your console is wired to your router. This will prevent any wireless issues that you may be running into.

Post back and let me know how that goes! Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this if that doesn't work.
