GTA V freezing then crashing my Xbox

When I play GTA V it ends up crashing within 10 to 15 minutes which results in either my Xbox turning off or sending me to the dashboard before turning off. I have tried everything I know to fix this. It has cost me roughly $500,000 in game currency and
about 5 hours. It's like I can't even play anymore.

Gaming to tide you over til launch

My gta v keeps hard freezing on the same level. Apparently an issue with older 360's according to what I read online.

3 Red Rings Xbox 360 Elite (Old Gen) HELP !!

My Xbox 360 Elite console has been playing up the last 6 weeks ( more than ever since I got GTA V ). My console had been freezing completely, on all Call Of Duty's and GTA V. I've repeatedly been getting 3 red rings but it fixes straight after unplugging
Power Brick from the console and the Brick itself. I need help to found out if it is the Power Supply or the Xbox crashing itself. On a couple of occassions the console has been red ringing and I've still be able to go on and use it while red ringing. I'm
out of warranty and trying all I can. Please help Cheers

Hey have you tried the steps listed here Xbox One Game Won’t Start | Xbox One Game Freeze

You may have to uninstall GTA and reinstall if you cant make it work with the above steps

I have tried everything it says including uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to work. The next step is to reset to factory settings. Is there anyway to fix this without losing everything I own.

How would you justify the videogame aspect of GTA V then? This means players can now die from crashing head on into other vehicles? This is more for the realisim side than anything. Great crashes but would the Xbox 360 and PS3 be able to handle all those
polygons and animations? BTW, not very tech savy with engines so some of my stuff may not make sense but hopefully you get where I'm coming from. The biggest problem as to why we see such "watered down" versions of games have o do with the processor and the
amount of memory that can be used. I'm pretty sure these crashes would eat up a lot of both. Expect the damage in GTA V however to be slightly tweaked. FYI, CryEngine3 is not what GTA V is being run on. GTA V uses RAGE 2.0.

If GTA V is freezing could be probably with disc or might have scratch on disc?

Yes, it allows me to play other games but GTA V is the only game that freezes on the loading screen.
