GTA V freezing on 1 particular account

I've downloaded GTA V again on my XB1 and decided to restart the story.

I tried to start a new game but this wasn't working so I deleted the save game data in my games files and add ons.

The game worked for a short while and then when I would load it, my controller would become unresponsive immediately. No input other than those to control the xbox (pressing Xbox button and navigating from there)

Sytem is fully updated, controller is official XB1 wireless controller and upto date. Game is upto date. This does not happen on any other game.

I have since created a new profile on the xbox (new account altogether) and this works with no problems. I've found that I cna get my main account work if I start the game with the 2nd account and switch accounts once it's loaded.

This let's me play the game from the beginning an Di managed to get a days worth of gaming out of it. This morning, same problem again.

I've uninstall Ed and reinstalled and the same issue persists. Is there anything I can do? I'd like to play on my main account for achievements and online play etc as it has live and gamepass paid for.
