"GTA V Couldn't Download"

We had the game before, the physical disc, but for some reason we needed to redownload the install disc again which we couldn't find, so we bought GTA V on the Xbox marketplace for the 360. At first it was downloading but kept dropping because of my Sprint
hotspot but then it downloaded consistently. I was downloading it to my USB, which has more than enough space. It didnt completely download until an error popped up saying "GTA V Couldn't Download" then it disappeared from everywhere- the recent tab, the active
downloads tab, the my games tab, I can't find it anywhere and it's not downloaded but we successfully paid for it on xbox marketplace for the 360. At first we bought the xbox one version by accident by then we canceled it, sent in a refund and then we bought
the xbox 360 version (which shows that its owned when I search GTA V on the game marketplace on the 360) before the money was refunded (it's refunded now and the 360 version was successfully purchased). I'm trying to download it again from the download again
option on the GTA V page on the 360 so let's see if it downloads. Does anyone know why this happened and how

The hard drive doesn't have enough space but the USB does which is where it's being downloaded to. The USB has 16.7 GB and the download is only 7.63 GB. I'm trying to redownload it from the download again option so let's see if it works.

have you made sure you have enough space on your xbox because that might be the reason.

Some mods for certain games on PC (GTA 4 and Crysis) are already REALLY close. Couldn't find the good one for GTA though.

If GTA V is indeed downloaded from the marketplace and not a disc, try this.

Delete GTA V and clear your cache 3 times.

Restart your console.

Download 16 GB of demos (this is how big GTA V will be in the end)

Once those have finished download all the GTA V files from your download history (GTA V, Installation Packs 1-4)

After you've done that, feel free to delete the demos.

This worked for me, hopefully it works for you too!

Hi, it could be a problem with your storage device, if you are using a hard drive, then try deleting the game, then download a few demos that add up to the same size of GTA V, then re-download GTA V. The reason to download the demos first, is that GTA V
is stored on another part of the hard drive which hopefully wont give you the error.
