GTA Online DLCs don't seem to work for me?

Hey there everyone,

almost one year after I got the game I tried to dig into GTA Online again (after release it was basically unusable, which is why I never played it really).

I've noticed the massive amount of DLCs that have been added to the game - the San Andreas Flight School was more or less the only reason why I started GTA V again just to complete all flight challenges to get those parachutes.

So right from the game start I've been told to check out all DLCs in the Xbox Game Store. I did that and downloaded every single DLC that was available in that compatibility pack(?). Restarted the game and even the console just to make sure
everything's ok.

I checked some YouTube videos to find the exact spot where the Flight School is available, which is the same as in singleplayer. However, after I arrived there I couldn't see anything on my minimap nor the circle to start the flight school. After that I
switched the lobbies and tried various others - all with the same effect.

On another lobby I found a guy who just started the San Andreas Flight School in front of me - I asked him what I needed to do in order to "see" it as well, but he had no idea.

When I opened the full map I couldn't find anything on the map about any DLC - plus I also had 26 categories (those on the right available) instead of 48 that I've seen in a YouTube video.

So my questions are:

What is up with that? Do I need to buy the DLC somewhere? If so, where? I haven't found anything about that on the internet. I also couldn't find anything on how to use or activate a DLC, if that's required/necessary. Do I need to join a special lobby? I don't
even know what those "Event" lobbys are for because every time I tried to join one it said it was unable to find a matching lobby for me.

Will Rockstar Games ever make GTA 5 for the Xbox One?

Or maybe only GTA Online for next gen consoles...

Also there will be a bunch of DLCs for GTA Online for this current gen....Liberty City,Vice City ,.....

Will they have enough ressources (time,people,money) to release GTA V DLCs, a new Red Dead,Max Payne 4,maybe a Bully 2,GTAVI,...For next-gen consoles and PC ??

 

Overwatch

There seems to be a mistake in the system of Overwatch aslo GTA online. I got overwatch on Fedruary 11,2017 we played it a week and it was working. GTA Online was play for 2year now the online stop work. Thanks for read this

 

There is no "circle" to start the flight school. On your map it will be a plane. You will see a guard standing near a no-access street and a building to the right. Go up the stairs and into the building. Hope this helps.

If you want to join a game together later I could just drive you there. Drop you off right in front of the building.

 

I dont think he is able Mantis. Op you need to download all the DLC packs. Beach Bum, High Life, Business, Valentines Day, Im not a Hipster, Independence, Flight school. I think thats all of them. Then start the game back up and get the update. You then
should be in the current 1.16 version in which does contain Flight school. It will be where you thought it should be. If you are still having trouble contact Rockstar support. Hope this helps you.

 

Now that I think about it, we may be in 1.17 I cant remember.

 

Is the DLC working at all. Do you have access to any of the DLC vehicles?

I've already downloaded every single DLC three times, also followed this guide even if it sounds a bit unrelated:

With that guide I've also filed a support ticket with no response so far.

Anyway, to answer a few more of your questions: I have no real idea if the DLCs are properly working. The dude who showed me where the Flight School (the same place as in SP) is wore that nice jet suit, which I was able to buy too, even though I didn't.

Somewhere in the options settings it said that I'm on v1.16.

it is buggy, I looked for it several times myself, and only found it like the 3rd time I tried, and the game seemed to have to run for a while before it would appear on the map.

its dumb anyways.

 

Sorry I said you had to go in a building. My memory is playing tricks on me. I'm having some trouble on the flight formation exercise. ughh. I had to stop and give myself a rest from it.

 

but FYI its the same place you go to flight school in story mode....... story mode has had that since launch.

 

Yeah, I mastered the flight school in singleplayer just fine, only multiplayer is giving me lots of troubles
