Gta Japanese version not working?

i believe the other version of gta 5 is the japanese version of the game but not 100% sure about it

It seems to me that each version is a separate version, for example for the achievements of the Japanese version, you will need the Japanese game.

For the achievements of the Xbox 360 version it's the same, these are not considered the same as the Xbox One version.

Unlike the Xbox One, many Xbox 360 disc games are region locked.

Don't you mean GTA IV? The 360 version of GTA V is not backwards compatible.

With the Xbox One, region locking is a little more complicated. Games are not region locked due to hardware but due to the console account location. This is because consoles no longer use PAL/NTSC signals in hardware.

So, if your console and your account (it has to be both) was located in the Japan, The Japanese version of Midnight club: LA would work, but you are located in Singapore,
which under the old system was a PAL region.

In short, your copy of Midnight Club LA won't work on your console, you need the PAL version.

Wait, I thought the PS3 version was in japanese only??

I've tried both versions but I prefer the 360 version since I don't understand japanese, but off course I wouldve loved it if they included extra content in the 360 version as well. Anyway, Tales of Vesperia is still easily the best japanese RPG on the 360.
