    GTA IV - Invalid CD-Key


    Hello, I have activated GTA 4 game on my steam account. Activation, download and installation was successful. When I run GTA 4 game, then I must log in to my windows live account, but after login I received a "invalid CD key" error. I try to enter my
    CD key manually, but I receive the same error.
    Can You help me, please?

    So I have bought GTA IV a few weeks ago. The CD Key i received was invalid, so I decided to contact Steam Support. Tehy gave me various methods to fix the problem, but none of them worked. As i had been waiten for almost two weeks i decided to ask for a
    new CD Key. Then they sent me to the XBox Live Support. So today I Started talking with a man in the support chat, and he redirected me to "A More suited agent". This "More suited agent" never came. I waited for 30 minutes +. Then when i returned to the chat
    later i got this message: Note: Chat is only available in English.

    But i went back in my browser history and managed to return to the chat, and this time i didnt manage to contact anyone. The chat kept saying "You are nr. 1 in q". But i sat for 45 minutes or so, so I gave up. Is there any way for me to fix this without
    anymore trouble?

    It was a mistake from the Steam Support to send you to the Xbox support chat.

    I suppose you've bought GTA IV for PC, so you will not receive support for it on a Xbox forum / support chat.

    Head back to Steam support and get your help there.

    I realize I may have posted this in the wrong area, but I do need help. I recently bought a new laptop, and it doesn't have a cd drive. I found my old GTA 4 cd and wanted to download it in steam. It gave me invalid key, I tried it on games for windows live,
    again invalid key. I know I typed it correctly. I really don't want to buy it again. Is there any way around this mess?
