Gta endlessly loading 2023

So I have been having an issue with GTA 5. I have recently gotten a Xbox series X but I want to play gta with my friends on older consoles. I have the old version of the game and I can not load into the game when I should be able to. I am on an endless loading screen waiting for online or story but neither will load. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it. I really want to play with my friends on gta!

Yes all other games work just fine. But it seems that just gta won’t work. Ever since I tried to play it on my Xbox series x it has not worked. I don’t have the updated version of gta it is still the normal game but I looked it up and it said you can still play normal gta on Xbox series x.

Hello I did all of these things and none of them have worked. Still says “entering story mode” or “entering online”. Then I wait and nothing ever happens. Any help would be appreciated still thank you! I think it may be a problem with the game? But I’m not sure how to fix or anything.

Since we have tried all the possible steps here to sort out the issue. There seems to be an issue with the game only. Would it be fine if you can try contacting Rockstar support for further advice? Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.

Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Grand Theft Auto 5, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

Solution 3: Try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Solution 4: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.
