GTA 5 Xbox 1 compatibility issue

For some reason, when i go to install gta 5, it says that it isnt compatible.

What can I do to fix this?

Each device has its version and what may have happened is the purchase of a version that does not install on your device. Check here on the purchased version.

GTA 5 is not backwards compatible. You would need to purchase the Xbox One version in order to play it on the One. GTA 4 is the only GTA game that is compatible at the moment.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. As you can see by this link https://majornelson.com/blog/xbox-one-backward-compatibility/ GTA 5 is not on the BC list. It's GTA 4 that is compatible.

GTA 5 is not on the backwards compatible list.

It has its own Xbox One version of the game.

If you are wanting to play GTA 5 on the Xbox One you would need to buy the Xbox One version of the game.
