    yes my gamer tag has gotten forced reset twice now and it’s sucks that I have to pay more money to change it my account was Ideal Japz and know Japz is like a slur but it’s my alias for call of duty I’m a sniper had another account named xjapz same problem
    just wanted to know if anyone could help so that my Gamertag doesn’t get reset again because if I change it it will most likely have Japz in it and if there is nothing u can do I will just play on ps4 because I had an account nakedness lev Japz and never had
    a problem if u can respond to me ASAP thank u

    xbox dashboard issues..

    bumping it back up for anyone who may need the help.. ive still had a few issues and thi tends to fix it off the bat.. if not a hard reset..

    Please go to Settings > Network > Advance Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > Restart

    If you continue to make gamertags with the same thing, you'll continue to get a reset. Multiple resets can cause you to be banned. Figure out another name.

    The Terms of Service and Code of Conduct have been updated many times in the life of the Xbox 360 and with each update to it we, the gamers, had to agree with the new updates before we were even allowed access to XBL. So you did
    have notice and you apparently agreed to those terms because you have been using XBL.

    Your GT was changed because it violated the Code of Conduct. XBL is rated "E" for Everyone and our profile content and Gamer Tags must reflect that rating. If they do not then we leave ourselves open for enforcement action being taken against our account(s).

    Yes, you should have to pay money to change it. YOU decided to ignore the rules you agreed to, Microsoft is just holding you to those rules. This is their way of punishing you. If you don't like it then you should not have agreed to their rules to begin with.
    Of course you are free to go elsewhere just be aware that the other services have rules of their own too.

    Hasn't the One already sold like 3 million units? And its only been released in 14 countries. I'd say that's pretty damn good. As Cthulhu alluded to, your profile has nothing to do with M-rated games. If you want to play, you have to play nice. "CleanCub"
    is a great gamertag. I like it.
