Group Post Censored

Yeah I've been getting the same problem, I was playing dark souls and I tried doing a look for group post and apparently the phrase "can I get help" is censored, so I tried switching it to "can I get assistance" and it was still censored, so whoever designed
this clearly had no idea what he/she was doing

Hey Cryogen, I can certainly see your point, but that list of blocked mottos is carefully considered and maintained. If you're being told you cannot use a certain word or phrase in your motto, you'll simply need to choose something else, I'm afraid.

That's the thing, autism is not an insult. "idiot" "stupid" "moron" "retard", those are insults. Autism is a identity. In my lifetime I've never heard anyone actually use that word as an insult, why? Because it's a word that has credibility within the medical
and scientific community, and if someone wants to insult someone with autism, they want to lower their status to something less credible, hence the aforementioned words.

There seems to be no logic related to many of these banned words, simply knee-jerk reactions, and again the fact that the word isn't banned in bios,where there is more room to actually say something insulting (as opposed to the paltry insult bumper-sticker
that is the motto), shows just how poorly thought out this kind of justification really is! I emailed MS and if I don't like their response, I'll be contacting some advocacy groups and gaming press, and discussing Microsoft's actions with them.

I used the words "Team Autism GO!" . Then tried Team Autism, then just the word autism, it's no doubt a single word ban, completely free of context. The word autism is banned from mottos, which is hypocritical since i can put it in my bio with no issue.
"carefully considered and maintained" doesn't mean a hill of beans when the context isn't also carefully considered. Simply put, it's a ban on the word autism, which is the official name for the condition, not some kind of slang or slur.

Chances are it was put in the banned words list to stop people using it as an insult.

EDIT: And before anyone says "oh but that'll never happen" there's still many, many people on XBL who think the word g.ay is still an acceptable choice for an insult so them using autism as an insult isn't that big of a stretch.
